Bio: I graduated in 2007 from Virginia Tech with a B.S. in Computer Science. Since then, I've been at UT-Austin working on a Ph.D. in Cell & Molecular Biology, where I use Rails quite a bit for the bioinformatics work. In my free time, I run the Texas chapter of a non-profit, Students for Gun-Free Schools, and am using Rails to put together a web application for activists.
