Bio: I've lived in Austin since 2000 and have always been interested in entering the tech industry and learning a new language (besides French and Italian). I hear that Ruby and ROR would be a good fit for me! I'm looking for mentors and internships. I look forward to meeting you all!

Bio: Loving Ruby a Lot.. Some of the Projects done. Title: Resource Section Technology: Ruby on Rails, MySql, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX Description: The web based application has 3 sections. The first section lists all the Error Codes and on click of any error code the notes for the corresponding error code will be displayed. Below the errorcodenotes the user comments will be listed. User must have an account to enter the comments. The second section lists all the new features available sorted by the number of votes. A user can vote only for 6 times without any repetition. If the user votes exceeds 6 then he will be directed to remove link page, and he can remove any of the links he has voted. If the user is already logged he can enter a new feature request otherwise he is requested to login. The third section lists the Favorite links group by link group and sorted by list position. Title: Project Tracking System Technology: Ruby on Rails, MySQL, CSS Description: This is a simple project tracking system where admin can create the projects and add users and he has all rights on the site. He can add the projects, delete the projects, add users, and delete users. A user related to that project can upload files and he can give comments. Users have an option to upload avatars. Love to get into more of Ruby.

Bio: I moved to Austin 2006. I'm the CTO at Blue Sky Technologies, a software company I officially co-founded in 2005 after having worked on it on the side for a few years before that. I've been gradually working Rails into the mix for our applications, starting with prototypes and internal apps.

Bio: I started my development career writing music composition software for Macs back in '95. I rode the end of the boom at pcOrder and Trilogy. After a handful of companies, I teamed up with a friend to form Magdesign. After nearly 5 years, I sold my partnership equity, and now I build rails applications as an independent consultant.
